Whitby Coast Cottages are original stone buildings, maintaining the local appearance and character of the Esk Valley. This theme is continued on the inside, where traditional styles are complimented by modern fixtures and fittings, to give a warm and homely feel. There is an on-site laundry and drying facilities as well as a pay phone, ample parking, generous lawns and sitting areas with fantastic views across the valley.

Sleights - The Manor House and York Cottage are both part of the original Manor House Farmhouse built in 1697. Situated on the outskirts of the village of Sleights, they have stunning views across the Esk Valley towards Aislaby. Both cottages are adjacent to (but totally separate from) a working farm, providing excellent privacy, ample parking and generous gardens. The Plough Inn is within walking distance and, being just 4 miles from Whitby and 2 miles from the North York Moors Steam Railway, both cottages offer an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful and fascinating area. Ground Floor: Utility room. Well equipped fitted kitchen / diner. Inner lobby. Large lounge with dining area and wood-burning stove (coal can be bought from us). Ground Floor: Entrance lobby. Open plan lounge / diner with well equipped kitchen area. Coast effect gas fire and night storage heaters. Stairs lead up to First Floor: Directly into bedroom with double bed and single bed, ample storage and excellent views across the Esk Valley. Shower room with WC, wash hand basin, separate shower cubicle and further large storage cupboard. Outside: Patio to side overlooking valley and gravelled area to front with seating. Aislaby Lodge Cottages - The following 5 cottages are in a quiet, secluded area on the edge of Aislaby village, also with stunning views across the Esk Valley. There are grassed play areas, sitting areas and ample parking. The village pub, the Huntsman, is 1 mile away, the North York Moors Steam Railway 3 miles and Whitby 4 miles.
