Title: Glance Ahead Side-ways

Level ground and I just cant meet
As I follow down a one-way street
A dead-end sign is all thats to be found
With no place wide enough to turn around
Im hanging by a tiny thread
As my arm bleeds a river of red
My hopeful thoughts unravel worry and doubt
Im trapped in a maze with no way out
Im in an ocean full of pain
For my balance Im unable to maintain
Within waves Im consumed, whirling within the ocean
Putting all my negitive thoughts in motion
My cry is a deafening silence
My plea for help does nothing to influence
In fog's cloud, Im forever lost
I cant get out, without paying pain's cost
Im sick and tired of being tired and sick
If only this was one of life's many tricks
When will I figure out and realize
Happiness is only found in the beholder's eyes
Among the millions, I cant find the way
Forever lost, with nothing to say
We're all together, yet all alone
To each a stranger, to each well-known
One step forward, and two steps behind
Some mountains are too steep to climb
Looking to the ledge, too far to fall
My pain and sorrow are all I recall
I dont know to who to turn
To help me let my demons burn
Happiness is just in arms reach
When found, I'll be at ease
For that day will soon arrive
When I'll stop struggling to stay alive
Until then, Im all on my own, alone to fight
Continusly hurting everyone in sight
Raindrops of tears will run down my face
For then, my heart will learn God's grace
I'll walk away, not to hold fear
For I know he has plans for me right here
